Gabrijela Kišiček is an Associate Professor at the Department of Phonetics, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb where she teaches a variety of courses for graduate students of Rhetoric including Argumentation, History of Rhetoric, Public Speaking. She also teaches courses on Nonverbal Communication, Communication Skills for teachers and cooperates with different Universities and Faculties with courses on topics related to rhetoric (e.g. Rhetoric in Health Care at the Faculty of Medicine, Rhetoric and Media at the Faculty of Political Sciences).
Gabrijela Kišiček is an argumentation and rhetoric scholar primarily interested in multimodal argumentation. Her recent work includes research of auditory arguments and importance of sound in an argumentative discourse.
Also, Gabrijela Kišiček is interested in rhetoric of political discourse and she wrote two books on this topic: Rhetoric and Politics and Homo Politicus: political rhetoric in theory and practice.
She cooperates with the News program of one of Croatian Televisions, Nova TV, as an expert commentator of political communication.
